I am a metalsmith and jewelry artist based in Prescott, Arizona. I work primarily in metal and stone, but I am always exploring new materials and new techniques. For me, this exploration and evolution is the essence of my work. The individual pieces are just snapshots of that process.

It could be said that my background describes my style. My mother is a fiber artist, and my father is a ceramic artist. Their eclectic styles continues to inspire me to explore and to be adventurous. I spent a decade living in Switzerland, and in that time I developed an affection for precision and even a little bit of glamor. Now I live in the high desert of Northern Arizona where
the stark landscape and earthy colors find their way into my
creative life. Of course, the joy of watching my four children grow,
each in their own way, is also an influence on everything I do.

Like my life itself, my work will continue to change and develop.
Even after creating hundreds of pieces, I can truly say that each
piece has an element of exploration in it, and this is one aspect
of my work that I hope will never change.
